1. Does the wedding venue have a backup generator in the event of a power cut?

Yes. Green Garden Hotel has its own backup generator, which starts automatically in the event of a power failure. This ensures that your wedding reception can continue without disruption.

2. Is there a corkage fee for bringing our own alcohol?

We do not charge a corkage fee for wedding receptions. Under the hotel’s regulations, the restriction on bringing alcohol onto the premises applies only to business events. Couples may provide their own alcoholic beverages for a wedding reception, subject to prior agreement with the hotel. Drinks may also be kept and consumed in hotel rooms. However, drinking alcohol in shared areas such as the lobby and corridors is not permitted.

3. How many waiting staff will serve the wedding, and will a manager be present?

The number of waiting staff depends on the type of reception and the chosen style of food service. As a general rule, there is one waiter for every 10–15 guests. Additional catering staff assist while meals are being served, ensuring that the service runs efficiently and in accordance with professional hospitality standards. Towards the end of the reception, as the number of guests naturally decreases, the size of the service team may be reduced. A dedicated event manager will be present throughout the reception to supervise the celebration and coordinate the work of the hotel staff.

4. How long can the wedding reception last?

Under the standard agreement, a wedding reception may last for up to 10 hours and must finish no later than 4:00 a.m. The reception may be extended at the couple’s request. The conditions and any additional arrangements are agreed individually with the event manager.

5. How much is the deposit, and when must it be paid?

The deposit required to book a wedding reception is PLN 5,000 and must be paid within seven days of signing the agreement. The full balance must be paid no later than seven days before the wedding date.

6. Can we take home any food left over after the reception?

No. In accordance with applicable food safety regulations and our catering service policy, food may not be taken away from the hotel premises. By signing the agreement, the couple purchases a catering service provided for a specified period, which ends when the wedding reception finishes.

7. Do you offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes or a children’s menu?

Yes. Our kitchen can prepare vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes, as well as meals for children. The hotel must be informed of any special dietary requirements no later than two weeks before the wedding, during the meeting with the Director of Food and Beverage. As these meals must be prepared individually, special dietary dishes are subject to an additional charge of 20% of the standard price per serving.

8. Can two weddings take place at the hotel on the same day?

Yes. Green Garden Hotel has two independent wedding halls as well as several smaller conference rooms, so two separate receptions may occasionally take place on the same day. The wedding halls are located away from each other and have separate entrances and facilities, ensuring complete privacy and comfort for both groups. Simultaneous events do not affect the course of either celebration.

9. Can we organise a wedding photo shoot in the hotel garden?

Yes. The couple may organise a complimentary wedding photo shoot in the Green Garden Hotel garden. The date must be agreed with the Sales Department in advance and is subject to garden availability. The hotel provides access to the entire outdoor area, not only the deck overlooking the pond. Please note that the garden is not reserved exclusively for the photo shoot. Other events, such as picnics or corporate gatherings, may be taking place at the same time. We recommend contacting us in advance so that we can arrange the most convenient date together.

10. Can we decorate the wedding hall ourselves or use an external wedding decorator?

Yes. You may decorate the wedding hall yourself or appoint an external decorator. In either case, all arrangements must be discussed and agreed with the Green Garden Hotel Sales Department in advance so that the preparations can be properly coordinated. Due to the hotel’s event schedule and technical preparations, we cannot guarantee access to the hall at a specific time on the wedding day, such as 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. or 12:00 noon. Access to the hall on the day before the wedding may be possible, subject to prior agreement and confirmation of availability by the hotel.
